Obituary of Richard Lee Fetterman

Richard Lee Fetterman, 86, of Roanoke, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin F. Fetterman.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and later worked for Carilion Healthcare.

He is survived by his children, Sandra Gladfelter, Richard Lee Fetterman Jr., Wayne Fetterman, Mary Bowie, Richard A Fetterman, and step daughter Rosanne Sheffer; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; along with a long time companion, Josephine Hall.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in the Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
