Obituary of Linda Pardue Bolen

Linda Carol Bolen, 72, of Vinton, Virginia peacefully passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jim and Lena Pardue.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was caring, giving, and loved by so many.

Linda worked for the Roanoke County Sheriff and Police Department for over 35 years, retiring in 2015.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Phillip Roy Bolen; daughter, Kerri Anne Sitze; grandchildren, Meredith Mackenzie and Benjamin Riley Sitze; brothers, Ronnie (Monica) Pardue and Larry (Leah) Pardue.

The family would like to thank the Palliative Care Team at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for their support and care of Linda. We are forever grateful for your compassion and you will always be remembered for your kindness during a very difficult time. 

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family has requested that all guests wear a face mask and observe social distancing during the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. 540-366-0707
