As a small child, the Sunday visits to Grandma and Grandad Wagner's home were always such highly anticipated events, filled with good food and fellowship with cousins, Bruce, Burt and the baby-ha! It's true, Brandon! We were allowed to play outside unfettered with any handheld devices other than a stick(!) and ran a million circles around that huge tree in the front yard. I remember so distinctly Uncle Leonard coming to stand outside. I can see him now, such a mighty pillar of quiet strength and gentle, peaceful ease, We always knew we were protected and safe when he was there! This has always been the image of Uncle Leonard that I carried in my mind and wanted you to know, Aunt Ann, that I am praying for you all to feel God's peace and my love always. Your whole family's legacy through you and Uncle Leonard's powerful, Christlike leadership is a beacon to me and I thank you!
