Dearest family of Hattie Mae,
We are so.blessed to have met Ethan and Hattie Mae. They were such a loving couple who were so sweet to everyone. I always told my friends that Hattie Mae was a very prim and proper lady. They both loved the Lord and it showed in their actions. I know Ethan was waiting for Hattie Mae by the pearly gates to welcome her home.
May God comfort you in the days ahead but remember your good memories of Hattie Mae.

Oh, how I loved Hattie Mae and Ethan. I have never seen a more lovely couple - so genuine and caring! They both had a warm and loving smile whenever you saw them. I remember seeing them one time in Asheville, N.C. in a restaurant when my husband, Charles, and I were there. I surprised them when I walked up to their table and asked if I could take their order. What a treat to be out of town and see this nice couple. They got a kick out of it and always mentioned it when we saw each other after that. I'm sure they had many friends who misses Ethan and now Hattie Mae. They made you feel so loved and special. My heart aches for each of the family, and to you, Malcolm, Hattie was so fond of you and always told me what a great help you were to them. May God Bless each of you at this difficult time.
Love,
Lois Kidd Elliott

What can one say about Hattie Mae. There is no way I can express in a few words the wonderful dear person whose personality, caring ways whom I feel loved everyone was shown daily by Hattie Mae in her lifetime. Both she and Ethan were dear friends
of my family and I will always remember them coming to the hospital and visiting when my Dad, Buck Britt, would be in the hospital. For years, she never missed sending us a Christmas card and calling from time to time. Anyone who had the privilege of knowing she and Ethan were truly blessed! My thoughts and prayers are certainly with each of her family members
especially Sue and Malcolm at this time.
I know they took good care of her. She is now in her heavenly home with Ethan and God. Rest in peace Hattie Mae. I know I will miss you!
Love you,
Bonnie Britt
