Gladys Walters Agee, 83, of Christiansburg passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, December 30, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew C. Agee, daughter, Bonnie Agee Kitts, sisters, Lilly Jenkins, Ora Nolley, Mildred Walters, and Louise Austin; brothers, Henry, Earl, Jack, Guy and Everette Walters. Mrs. Agee loved her family, friends and work at Christiansburg Elementary School. She was a member of Head of the River Primative Baptist Church. Surviving are her children, Carolyn Agee Perdue, of Roanoke; Linda Agee Dickerson and husband Roy of Dublin; Dianne Agee Kelley and husband Bob also of Roanoke; grandchiliden, Penny Britt, Lucas Duncan, Jimmy and Brian Kitts, Scot and Toby Duncan; step grandchildren, Ro Dickerson, John Kelley, II and Seth Kelley; twenty great grandchildren; sister, Garnett Rose of Salem. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2012 at Head of the River Primative Baptist Church by Elders Larry Hollingsworth and Carl Terry. Interment will follow in Restvale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. 366-0707
