Obituary of Janet M. Graybill

Please share a memory of Janet to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Janet M. Graybill, 75, of Troutville went to join her family in heaven on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Sharing her memory of life with others is her daughter, Veronica Grantham; Godson, Jordan Kearns; and beloved Pug, “Spanky”. She is also survived by a beloved uncle, Harold Millard; two sisters in law, Pat Carol Millard and Lori Hendricks Millard; nieces, Kelly Waldron and Lindy Blackwell; nephews, Samuel, Kempy, William, and James Kessler, Shawn and Vincent Millard, and their families. The family wishes to thank Amedisys Home Health Care and Amedisys Hospice for their support and kindness. We would also like to thank the Troutville and Read Mountain Rescue Squads for their many acts of kindness. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Troutville or Read Mountain Rescue squad. A celebration of Janet's life will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Chaplain Troy Mays. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. Proverbs 31:25-29 NIV She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all.”
