So saddened to read of Joy's passing. Even though I never met her, I looked forward to reading her articles in the newspaper. Her caring (and feisty) heart shone through in every story.

We were saddened to learn that our dear neighbor on Windridge Parkway has passed away. We enjoyed seeing her at the annual Wing Ding picnic and also enjoyed her column about the Franklin County animal shelter in the Franklin News Post. She dearly loved the animals and did God's work in her endeavors to make things better for them. Our sympathy goes out to George and the family. She will be long remembered. Fred & Donna Hall

I used to love to read Mrs. Jamison's articles about the Franklin County shelter,so I sent her a Facebook friend request and I was so happy when she accepted! She always sent me the cutest gifs and the like through Messenger. Never did she let on that she was in the hospital. I will miss her posts, comments and messages. She was a wonderful advocate for the animals in Franklin County and beyond. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Mrs. Jamison's family and friends, she will be missed.
