Anthony Lewis “Bushwick” Hudgins, age 40, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Friday, February 14, 2020. He joins his beloved grandfather, Eugene Geer.He was born in Tempe, Arizona and was the beloved son of Teresa Geer of Roanoke and Tony Hudgins of Roanoke and his stepmother, Patricia Hudgins of Roanoke. Anthony was an electrician and carpenter who took a lot of pride in his work. He loved his family, hiking, fishing and most of all his cats. In addition to his parents he is survived by his precious children, Maria Hudgins and Ava Hess; stepchildren, Alissa Hash and Christopher Hash; grandparents, Ethelene and Gordon Hudgins of Blue Ridge; grandmother, Shirley Geer of Arizona; a sister, Shannon Bozeman of Roanoke and her husband Mike Bozeman; brothers, Justin Hudgins and his fiance`Sasha Howell of Roanoke, and Brandon Hudgins of Roanoke; nephews, Chase Woolwine, Jace Hudgins, and Decklyn Hudgins; aunts and uncles, Diane and Larry Marshall, Sharon and Tom Bice, Jeanann and Todd Jones, Michelle and Dean Davis, Lori and Pete McKnight, and Kevin and Vicki Hudgins; multiple cousins and many friends. He also leaves a boss that never gave up on him, Zach Hill and a very special friend, Sarah Stasko and her children. Anthony, we will carry you in our hearts forever and we will love and miss you always. A celebration of Anthony's life will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, February 21, 2020 in the Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Rd., Roanoke with Pastor Tino Maciel officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Simpson Funeral Home.
