Karen Elizabeth Jones Stanley
1963 - 2020
Karen Elizabeth Jones Stanley, 56, of Roanoke, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2020.
Surviving her are her son, Gidd Gates, her uncle, Gary Jones of Roanoke, and many Cousins who knew her as "Carrie Beth" and loved her very much.
Karen worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was known for her compassionate care. Numerous cancers and diabetes took her health and forced her to retire early on disability.
Karen loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was an active member of Enon Baptist Church. She enjoyed worship, her Sunday School Class, a Small Group Bible Study, and singing in the Adult Choir.
Karen was a good neighbor. She befriended many and helped those she could. She led a neighborhood Bible study and she willingly gave witness to what the Lord had done for her.
A Memorial Service celebrating Karen’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. March 7th, 2020, at Enon Baptist Church with Pastor Glenn Giles officiating.
