John was my neighbor at the lake all my life. He and his wife Nelly knew me as a newborn! He and his family were just like family to me while growing up.
I remember John and his two boys (older than me) sitting on their dock on little stools, like chairs, I think he built for them, catching bluegills. This was way back in the 1960’s. He also loved just sitting on his screened in porch just watching the sun set over the lake in the summer evenings. A great story teller, we will miss you John. Condolences to David, Steve, Angie, Kyle, Kenan, and all your spouses.
