Paul R. "Stink" Gilkeson, 72, of Roanoke, passed away, Sunday, December 15, 2019. Paul is survived by his wife Sharon Cogar Gilkeson; children, Paul Scott Gilkeson and wife Leanne, Rikki West and husband Shawn; grandchildren, Justin Lipes, Clayton Gilkeson, Mackenzie Gilkeson, McKayla Hartman, Payten Hartman, Dalton Gilkeson, and Kaylee West; great-grandson, Noah Lipes; brother, Mark Gilkeson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Paul's name. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707.
