Violet Mattie Crawford Clingenpeel, 94, of Vinton, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 5, 2019. She was a very knid and generous person. Violet was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Mary Crawford, her brothers, and a sister.
Violet is survived by her daughter, Debra Lynn Keesee and husband John; step-daughter, Myrtle Clingenpeel Anderson and husband Garland; close neice, Carolyn Carr, and other nephews and neices. Her body was donated to the State Annatomical Board of Virginia.The family will be planning a Memorial Service at a later date. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home.
