Charles Melendez, 66, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 31, 2019. He was preceded by his parents, Manuel and Maria Cosme Melendez.
Charles was employed as a material handler with Orvis.
Surviving are his daughter, Yvette Marie "Evee" Melendez; siblings, Raquel Guzman, Manuel Melendez, Maria Melendez, Angel (Sandra) Melendez, Jose Melendez, Ricardo (Aida) Melendez; seven nieces, six nephews, and former wife, Margaret Brown.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 540-366-0707
