Obituary of Eugene Lee Meador

Eugene Lee Meador, 59, of Fincastle went home to be with his Lord and Savior Monday August 26, 2019.  He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Wilford Meador.

Eugene was employed by the Roanoke Valley Resource Authority for 20 years.

Surviving are his mother, Beatrice Barbour Meador Kingery; K-9 Son, Waylon Jennings; sisters, Faith (Jim) Pressley, Deirdre (Robert) Dye; nieces, Elizabeth (Jed) Bowers, and Grace Dye; nephews, Clay Pressley and Conly Dye; great nephew, Brian; great nieces, Aubreigh and Addy; best friend, Angie Oliveira and her daughters, Jodi and Tori Huffman.

The family would like to offer their appreciation and thanks to Eugene's many friends and co workers at the Roanoke Valley Resource Authority for their many acts of compassion.  A very special thanks is extended to Pastor Morris Bennett for his comfort and friendship.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church, 3936 Beaver Dam Rd., Buchanan, VA  24066, in memory of Eugene.
