Obituary of Robert Chance Hartwell

Robert Chance Hartwell, 39, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Monday July 1, 2019.  He was preceded by a step son, Brandon Hylton.

Chance was employed by English Construction Company.

Surviving are his wife, Heather Hartwell; son, Chase Hartwell; mother and step father, Vickie and Ed Sumner; father, Robert Hartwell, brother, Nathan (Jennifer) Hartwell; step sister, Cristy (Wes) Blair; nephews, Jacob and Benjamin Hartwell; nieces, Cecilia and Kinsey Blair; and his devoted English Bulldog, Dozer.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Pastor Rick Eason.

Interment will follow in Fair View Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home.  366-0707
