Obituary of Mary Jane Leonardo Prado

Mary Jane Leonardo Prado of Botetourt County, VA was born on October 11, 1972 in Tarlac City, Philippines and died Saturday, June 22, 2019 at her home.  She studied at the College of the Holy Spirit, Tarlac City, Phillippines and in 1994 completed a four year Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management.

She was a member of Iglesia Ni Cristo-Church of Christ of High Point, North Carolina.

Mary Jane worked as a Branch Operations Manager for Phillip Lhuillier, Inc. (PJL  I Group of the Company)  for 20 years.  She received multiple loyalty awards for her work at Cebuana Lhullier Pawnshop, Tarlac Branch 1 in Tarlac City Phillipines.  She along with her family successfully arrived at the Roanoke Airport April 18, 2018.

Surviving are her husband, Roberto Prado; daughter, Jillian Rose Prado; parents, Pablo and Pilar Leonardo; sisters, Amy Leonardo Lovlace and her husband Fritz, Irene Leonardo Jones and her husband J. Jones; brothers, Jerry Leonardo and his wife Nora, Renato Leonardo and his wife Jingky, Jimmy Leonardo and his wife Melda; nieces and nephews, Vicky and Andy, Ben, Ciera, Brannon, Alanna, Alondra and other nieces and nephews in the Philippines; special friends, Evelyn Delfin Hardinger and Gelda DeJesus, numerous other friends and her church family at Iglesia Ni Cristo - Church of Christ in High Point, NC.

The family would like to offer their special thanks to the staff at Carilion Hospice for their many acts of kindness and compassion.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory.  366-0707
