Obituary of Ann Keyes Gillespie

Ann Keyes Gillespie, 71, formerly of Lynchburg, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 14, 2019.

She was preceded by her husband, Albert Ray Gillespie; father and mother, Edwin Sr. and Hazel Keyes; brother, Edwin Keyes, Jr.; and a grandson, Colton Ty Gillespie.  Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother , and caregiver.

Surviving are her children, Robert O'Neal, Angela Shaver, and Wayne and John Gillespie; grandchildren, Kaytlin Shaver, and Mason and William Gillespie; sisters, Emily Keyes and Deborah Schwartz; nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA by Chaplain Troy Mays.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
