Obituary of Ira Earl McNeal

Ira Earl McNeal was born on January 14, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri to Dorothy Mae Pettiford and Ira McNeal.  He departed this life on Friday, June 7, 2019.  He was preceded in death by both parents, one sister and six brothers.

Ira received his education in the Kansas City, Missouri school district and graduated from Southeast High School.  He enlisted in the Air Force in 1968 and served his country for 21 years.

To cherish his memory, he leaves two daughters, Vav Matthews of Roanoke, and Valerie Brown of Lorton, VA; brothers, Donald Pettiford of Minneapolis, MN, Dillard and Emmanuel McNeal of Kasas City, MO; sister, Shirley McNeal of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Sierra Pendleton and Jonathan Brown, Jr; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
