Frances Greer Wilson, 82, of Vinton passed away, Wednesday, November 9, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elber and Sadie Greer, husband Robert H. Wilson; son, Robert H. "Rob" Wilson, Jr.; brothers, Tom and Fred Greer and a half sister, Leslie Laughon. Mrs. Wilson was a retired beautician. Surviving are her daughter and son in law, Lori and Glenn Waldron of Roanoke; grandchildren, Katelin Waldron, Lauren Waldron, Robert H. (Bobby) Wilson, III; Tiffany Tolley; and Amber Wilson and four great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2011 in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday and from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. 366-0707
