Tommie W. Hall of Roanoke, Virginia, joined his heavenly family on Thursday evening, May 23, 2019. He was 86 years old. Tommie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy, his son, Bruce, his parents, the Rev. George and Mary Hall, his sister, Doris Jones, and his brothers, Richard Hall and Don Hall.

He is survived by his 3 daughters: Nancy Scharf and husband, Bill; Tina Hall and spouse Ann Ramsey; Stacy Lichtenstein and Sylvan Lichtenstein, son-in-law. He is also survived by nine grandchildren: Dr. Andrew Scharf (Megan), Ryan Scharf (Stephanie), Adam Scharf (Dawn), Amber (Lichtenstein) Crouch (Braden), Lauren Lichtenstein, Zac Lichtenstein, Grace Beatrice Hall-Ramsey, Nathaniel Hall and Noah-Bruce Hall; 5 great-grandchildren: Tenley, Reagan, Bria, Walker, and Anna Blair Scharf and 2 great-grandsons due in July. Also surviving is Jennifer Hall Dillon.

Dad was loved by a very special friend, Lex, his beloved dog.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home at 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, Virginia. Funeral service will at be held immediately following visitation at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Amos Cemetery.  The Rev. Lester Kennedy will officiate
