Obituary of Charlotte Frantz Carroll

Charlotte Frantz Carroll 78 of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Saturday May 18, 2019. Her parents, Aubrey Lewis Frantz and Dora Vess Terrant, preceded her. Along with a sister, Betty Engleman, brothers, Jerry Frantz and Gernie Frantz and a nephew, Ronnie Frantz.

 

Ms. Carroll in her early years was a Roanoke County Bus Driver, the spent many years in the health field starting with Jefferson Hospital, then the Lewis-Gale Clinic for many years as a Nurse Practitioner, before retiring with Valley Occupational Medicine. She was a member of the East End Baptist Church and when she was not working, she enjoyed taking care of her flowerbeds and loved bird watching. However, mostly she loved and enjoyed her family, her church. A very loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, who will be dearly missed and her unconditional love for all.

 

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Steve Arthur and wife Debra; grandson, Brian Arthur and wife Jessica; granddaughter, Christina Arthur and fiancé Travis, step granddaughter, Tamara Palmer and husband Broadus; great grandchildren, Aiden and Abby Arthur, Makai and Makynzie Palmer; brother, Robert Frantz and wife Lee; and nephews, Tommy Frantz and wife Lisa, Aubrey Frantz and wife Christy, Clint Frantz and wife Mindy, Robbie Frantz, and Shannon Hoffman.

 

The family would like to give a special thank you to the amazing people at the Good Samaritan Hospice. Sara, Amanda, Teresa, thank you for the compassionate and loving care. Thank you to Dr. Fintel and the staff at the Blue Ridge Cancer Center for all you have done.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday May 21, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home. Inurnment will be private. Family will receive friends from 1:00pm until Service time Tuesday May 21, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home.
