Uncle Alvin was a fine man of God. He was well studied in the Word and we had many conversations about the Lord. Ricky and I always felt close to Uncle Alvin. It was always a pleasure when he came to visit and we were glad we could visit him a few times when he could no longer travel to Scott County. Our lives were enriched because we knew his love. Family was important to Uncle Alvin and he always enjoyed sharing about what each one of you was accomplishing. He loved his music and was so much fun to watch playing his fiddle and harmonica! Oh, how we will miss him, but ,Praise the Lord, we will all be together again! Heaven is a brighter place today because Uncle Alvin is there. Our love and prayers are with all of you during this time and always.
