Obituary of Juanita Terry Hanna

Juanita Terry Hanna, 91, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 24, 2019.  She was preceded by her husband, Jack C. Hanna; brothers, Roderick (Bud) Terry, and Douglas Terry; sister, Ramona Barton; mother, Verona Calhoun; and father, Kemper Terry.

Juanita was a member of Roanoke Avenue Baptist Church.

Surviving are her son, Dwight (Pat) Hanna; daughter, Gail (Daniel) Mackenzie; grandchildren, Michelle Hanna, Shelley (Michael) Williams, Harry (Geneva) Hanna, Alyssa (Chad) Nolan; great grandchildren, Trinity (Bryan) Newman, Brianna Hanna, Jaidyn and Kadence Howard-Gray and Kara Hanna; great grandchild, Skylar Newman; other grandchildren, Van, Anthony and Kodi Jones, Terry, Kaydon, Garrett, Savannah and Ethan Nolan, and Karson Tune; brother, Arnold (Sarah) Terry, Orville (Vivian) Calhoun; sister, Gloria Pruitt; special friends, Harmon Bower, Lisa and Sam Maloney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. James Reese and the Rev Arnold Terry.  Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service at Simpson Funeral Home.  www.simpsonfuneral.com
