We can look forward to the day when there will be no more sickness and death. Revelation 21:4 says: "And he [God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. God cares for the brokenhearted; Psalm 34:18 assures us that he is close to them. Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)

Randall was a shining light to us all. His enthusiasm and joy in music and God has been a constant and consistent example. He played the organ in a fashion that had a special touch and delight. For those of us blessed enough to enjoy Wednesday night choir practice, we know a personal humor that brought us all together. I feel blessed to have shared prayer and time with Randall, and I remain sorry that I wasn't there to visit in the end or to know he was so ill. Randall was a positive person in every moment shared, and it is absolutely a beautiful testament to have served the congregation at Oak Grove for 38 years. What a legacy. I knew the relationship with Botetourt and Fincastle, but I did not know he assisted with the holiday lighting. It doesn't surprise me to learn he would see to something so important to others. Dee Dee and family, please know my thoughts are with you. I know there is a spectacular organ upstairs that is rippling with glorious tunes played only as he commanded the instrument. I celebrate his life and join your sadness in his loss to us in this world.

I have known Randall ever since he was born. I remember him pulling out all of Virginia's pots and pans playing with them. I didn't see him for awhile until he was a young man helping his mom in the garden with her flowers--he loved his mom so much and then I haven't seen him since at his mom's funeral. I know he was an awesome person, Virginia always had wonderful things to say about him. May you Rest in Heaven Randall, I am sure you will be missed by a lot of friends.

So many wonderful qualities of Randall's character. Firstly, Randall and I (Vicki) were classmates at Botetourt Intermediate School in late 1960s. Some years later our paths crossed again as he was an employee of CMC Supply in Roanoke Va. Randall was always so helpful and always smiling. We would always be assured that every order was exact and promptly delivered. RIP Randall....you have
surely served your family and friends well!

Death is difficult to deal with but we have the hope of a resurrection from our loving God Jehovah. The resurrection hope is an assured promise mentioned throughout the Bible. The Bible tells us that the hour is coming, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and they will be resurrected (John 5:28,29). Without a doubt Jehovah through his son Jesus Christ will bring to life our dead loved ones. This wonderful video can help you to further understand the wonderful hope our loving Father Jehovah provided for us.
