Obituary of Christie Gayle St.Clair

Christie Gayle St.Clair, 41, went into the arms of Jesus Sunday, March 3, 2019.  She was the daughter of Brenda Peyton of New Castle, VA and Paul St.Clair of Troutman, NC.  In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Michelle Dooley of Salem and Karen (Steve) Jones of New Castle; nephews and nieces, Austin Matthews, Nathaniel St.Clair, Sara Jones, Trinity Dooley and many other family members.

Very special thanks goes to Harold and Rosalind Wynne and the staff at Wynne’s Adult Care, and to the staff of the Bedford Adult Day Center for the special care and love they provided for Christie for the past 20 plus years.  The doctors said we would only have maybe 5 years with her, but God gave us 41 years.  Praise be to God!

A celebration of Christie’s life will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road with the Rev Larry Sprouse officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
