Obituary of David Lee McBride

David Lee McBride, 60, of Eagle Rock went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 3, 2019.  He was preceded by his parents, Steve and Lucille McBride.

David was an employee of Bluestone Block for over 30 years.

Surviving are his son, David Nathanial (Nathan) McBride and fiancee' Lori Whittimore; daughter, Trina McBride Tampa and fiance, Zachary Vose; grandchildren, Sequoyah Tampa, Gavin Atkins, Kara, Kristian and Kaleb McBride; brother, Steve J. (SJ) McBride, Jr. and Dona; sister, Carol Blankenship; former wife, Phyllis Deisher; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.

Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home on Tuesday.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory.
