Obituary of Donshae Shanell Hairston

Donshae Shanell Hairston 26 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Wednesday February 27, 2019.

Donshae was a happy person and she loved making others happy. Also was a very very loving and caring mom, daughter, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed and forever in their hearts.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Amorera Mundia; fiancé, Leonard Deane and his daughter, Leyanna who she dearly loved; parents,  her father, Patrick Hairston; and mother Sandra Brown and her husband Stewart; sisters, Jessica Jones and her husband Terry, Monica Slade, Isabella Hairston, Chantal Brown, Brittany Brown; brothers, Chase Cooper, Stewart Brown, Jr, Davon Wood; along with her nieces and nephews, Diamond Jones, Terry Jones, Jr, Alana Jones, Avantae Slade, Sade´ Slade whom she loved like sisters and brothers; her loving granddad, Enoch Hairston; great niece, Raelyn and her mom Lex McGhee. In addition, a host of other relatives and friends she deeply cared about but too numerous to mention.

We believe that Jesus died and rose again; and so it will be for those who have died in Christ. God will raise them to be with the Lord forever. Comfort one another with these words. 1 THESS. 4:14, 17-18

In Donshae’s memory, donations to the American Heart Association would gladly be appreciated.

The family would like to thank the Cardiologist Department at UVA and Roanoke Memorial for the care and support.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00pm Wednesday March 6, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home with Pastor Sylvan Moyer and Elder John Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Tuesday March 5, 2019 from 6:00-8:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home.
