Maxine Baker 92 of Roanoke passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011. She was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Lula Overacre Baker, and a sister Janiece Baker. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Maxince Baker Fund C/O Valley Community Church 5000 Carriage Drive Roanoke, Va. 24018 A graveside service will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Saturday, October 8, 2011 in Evergreen Burial Park by Dr. Maurita Wiggins. The family will receive freinds from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. 366-0707
