                                                       Harry Wesley

 

Harry Wesley Shrader, 83, of Elliston went to be with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday January 24, 2019. He lived life well, loved his family and friends, cherished tinkering in his shop and outdoors, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. 

 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Nettie Louise Mills Shrader; his mother and father, Lena Mae and Johnny Greenville Shrader; brother and sister in law, Bernard Carson and Peggy Shrader; sister, Linda Hancock; brother, Roger Dale Shrader; great grandson, Kyle Anthony Shrader; and daughter in law, Diane Shrader. 

 

He is survived by his son, Roger Alan Hartless; son, Mark Anthony Shrader; son and daughter in law Fred Lester and Sharon Shrader; sister and brother in law, Wanda Gorline and Buck Haga; brother and sister in law, Davard Isiah (Pete) and Margaret Shrader; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. 

 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Geraldine Ratcliff and family for their loving companionship the last 7 years. 

 

A memorial service will be held in his honor at the Elliston Church of God at 2 p.m. Saturday February 2, 2019 with Pastor Ronnie Duncan and the Rev. Eugene Mills officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until service time at the church.
