Obituary of Dorys Wade Thompson

Dorys Wade Thompson, 88, of Roanoke passed away on January 15, 2019, at the Virginia Veterans Care Center in Roanoke, VA. Born in Beckley, WV on June 30, 1930, Dorys was a U.S. Army veteran and a retiree of the Times World Corp. He was also an owner of the Bee Bum Café in Salem, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wade Thompson and Fern Burton Thompson, and by an infant sister, Helen.

He is survived by his wife, Toni; sons, Wade (Caren) and Timothy; daughter, Kelley St. Clair; grandchildren, Pam Hunter, Lesley Bosiacki, and Shannon St. Clair; sister, Dixie June Reese (Curtis); brother, Joe (Loraine); and numerous nephews. No services are planned.
