Dear Higginbotham Family,
Losing your loved one in death is a pain we can never get accustomed to. But Jehovah, "the God of all comfort" lovingly eases that pain by promising to get rid of death. At Isaiah 25:8 he said that "He will swallow up death forever, and the sovereign lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces". Such beautiful and comforting words from our Father Jehovah can help us through the most difficult time of our lives.
Regards,
Regina

Eddie was a loyal friend, full of life and devoted to his boxers. Thomas, Jim and I will miss his visits to Florida and our visits to their home in Roanoke. He knew he was in for a tease over his oatmeal routines and the buzz of the hair dryer. Quick to laugh, easy to talk too and caring by nature were only a few of the reason we progressed from acquaintances to family.
Thank you to Donnie for your care of our brother and allowing us to share Eddie with you for so many years.
Enjoy your journey over the Rainbow Bridge to join your family, friends and beloved Boxers.
We love you, miss you and are so thankful for your time in our lives.

To each of you who loved Eddie, I express my sorrow! My husband, Charles, worked with him at the N&W, and he and I both thought the world of Eddie. Seems he always had a pretty smile and laugh. He was easy to talk to and was a caring and compassionate person. My thoughts are with you at the difficult time. Prayers and Blessings!

I loved Eddie as my brother (not in-law) . He had been a part of my life since I was 17 years old and he was 10 years old.
We were very close through the years and I will always cherish those memories.
Rest in Peace Eddie. Until we meet again.
