Hello, Im sorry for your loss. When I see someone local who has gone to sleep in death, I try to encourage the family, from the Bible, comforting verses that will ease the heart.
At 1 Cor 15:26, the Bible calls death an enemy and is to be brought to nothing. This tells us that death is not natural and soon, when Gods kingdom come, it will be done away with. Also at Revelation 21:3-4, death will be no more.
I have loss many in my family, both my parents, several of my brothers, and friends. Death is a sting that stabs at our hearts. But when we have an understanding of what God, Jehovah, will do in the future, our hearts doesn't hurt as bad. (Psalms 83:18).
We look forward to seeing our dear loved ones soon as brought out in John 5: 28-29. And no more sickness Isaiah 33:24.
Words do bring comfort but the Bible heals our hearts. Again I’m sorry for your loss
