Mama Schaef’s passing is a loss to us all! The history she has lived through is now in reserve! Friends and family can be most helpful in coping with her absence! I have been comforted by reading various articles from jw.org>Bible Teachings>Life and Death>Hope for the Dead>What is the Resurrection? I wish to express sympathy and comfort to all who are missing Mama Scharf.

May your family find comfort as “the hearer of prayer” embraces their heart (Psalms 94:19). Lean on one another for strength and encouragement to stay strong. We hope that the many cards, hugs, kind words, cherished memories, and loving prayers sustains your family during this most difficult time.

Please except my condolences. May you find comfort in knowing that your dear one is safe in the memory of God, who will remember every detail about her and bring her back again. John 5: 28, 29 gives this assurance.

I’m very sorry to hear of Aunt Mary’s death. May she rest in peace. I have fond childhood memories of Aunt Mary, Uncle Frank, Frankie and Bill coming to Louisiana and spending many weeks every summer. Everyone in Aunt Mary’s Louisiana family looked forward to those summer visits and time spent visiting, fishing, cooking and eating, game-playing, horseback riding, and playing guitars in the country. (Although I also remember that the boys often got bored out in the country versus living in the city.) Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
