Obituary of Bonnie Sue Desper

On December 7, 2018, Bonnie S. Desper of Goodview went home to be with her Heavenly Father.  She was preceded by her parents, David and Joanne Leffel, her beloved son, Jimmy Lucas, and her nephew, Little Perry.

Bonnie was a dedicated member of Life Tabernacle where she enjoyed working with the children in Sunday School and singing on the worship team.

Surviving are her husband, Alan Desper; grandchildren, Austin Snow and Kaitlin Kerns;sisters, Connie (Perry) Weeks, Mary (Daniel) Boyd; brothers, Buddy (Dinah) Leffel; and Eddie (Karen) Leffel; and nieces, nephews and many close friends.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Sherry Callahan for not only being a dear friend but a loving, caring and wonderful caregiver to Bonnie this past year.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Life Tabernacle.

A celebration of  Bonnie's Life will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Life Tabernacle 801 Virginia Avenue Vinton with Pastor Tino Maciel officiating.  Interment will be private.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory.  366-0707
