Obituary of Ellen Marie Caldwell

Ellen Marie Caldwell 89 of Salem went to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 5, 2018. Her loving husband Richard and a granddaughter preceded her.

 

Mrs. Caldwell was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and retired after many years of service as a Registered Nurse here locally. A very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and friend who is going to be dearly missed by all.

 

Surviving are her children, Ellen Linderose, Samuel Caldwell and wife Harriet, Daniel Caldwell and wife Bobbi, and David Caldwell and wife Mariana; ten grandchildren. Along with numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Mrs. Caldwell name.

 

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Monday December 10, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 12:00pm until service time at 2:00pm Monday at Simpson Funeral Home. Condolences may be left for the family at www.simpsonfuneral.com.
