Obituary of Gail Flowers Wirt

Gail Flowers Wirt of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord and her mother on Thursday, November 15, 2018.  She was preceded by her parents, Ida and Rope Elliott.

Gail had worked as a Security Guard at Hotel Roanoke.

Surviving are her children, Bobby Lee (Melanie) Wirt, Tammy (Rodney) Phillips, Jamie Wirt and his significant other, Bonnie; grandchildren, Ashley and Anthony Spencer; six great grandchildren; and former husband, Bobby Wirt.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services will be conducted noon Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Simpson Funeral Home.  366-0707
