Obituary of Allen Lewis Clark

Allen L. Clark, 64, of Salem passed away Sunday, October 28, 2018.  He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin L. Clark, brother, Scott Clark, and a sister, Becky Clark.

Mr. Clark retired from the Roanoke City Police Department in September of 2002 after 26 years of service.  In retirement he worked as a Security Guard for Roanoke City Schools for 11 years.  He was a member of Salem Church of God for over 40 years where he enjoyed serving as a worship leader.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Carol Wilcher Clark; daughter, Joy (Jeremy) Pohlman; grandchildren, Jerica Hairston, Jenna and Jordan Pohlman; daughter, Leslie (Brian) Fitzgerald and grandchildren, Kolton, Kerrigan, and Korri Fitgerald; mother, Joyce Noble Clark; and sister, Karen (Michael) Newcomb.
