Obituary of Stephen Agee

Stephen P. (Steve) Agee, 72, of Roanoke passed away Thursday, Sepetmber 20, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Junior P. and Ila M. Agee. Steve spent his entire life in the field of physical fitness. He was the owner/operator of the Holiday Health Spa, along with several other area businesses. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Janice Chandler Agee; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Diane and Curtis Delbridge of Richmond; two nephews, and numerous cousins. Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. A special thank you to the Doctors and staff in the Oncology Department at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital as well as the entire staff at Springtree Health and Rehab Center. Your many acts of kindness and compassion will never be forgotten. And to our special friend, Ike Glasgow, words cannot express our appreciation for all that you have done for us during Steve's illness. A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2012 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Sharon Quesenberry. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
