Obituary of Ronald L. Childs

Ronald L. Childs of Troutville, Virginia went to be with the Lord at the age of 79 on Saturday September 22, 2018.

Mr. Childs was born in Alleghany County on December 14, 1938. The son of Violet and Daniel Childs. He served proudly in the United States Army. He retired after 30 plus years with Westvaco as a Journeyman.

He loved the Lord,and read his word daily. His love for his family and life was great and he will be sorely missed.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Sharon Childs; a son, Bryan Childs and his wife Susie of Jacksonville, Florida; daughter, Rhonda Webb and her husband Dennis of Roanoke; two granddaughters, Hannah Ashworth, Nicole Daugher; one grandson, Justin Childs; and great grandchildren, Ryland and Isabella.
