Obituary of Irvin Gibson

Irvin Henry Gibson, 87, of Roanoke passed away on September 12, 2012. Irvin was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Isaac Gibson, siblings, Flora Angel, Jesse Gibson and a daughter, Angie Gibson Lorenzo. He is survived by his dedicated and loving wife of 67 years, Gladys Richardson Gibson, sons and daughters in law, Roger and Joyce Gibson, Dana and Dianah Gibson and son in law, Bill Lorenzo. Also surviving is his sister and brother in law, Lolene and Robert Smith. Affectionately known as "Pap", he is also survived by his grandchildren, Roger and Karie Gibson, Dana and Julie Gibson, Chris Lorenzo, Mike Lorenzo and Jennifer and Austin Williams. And also by the real lights of his life, his great granddaughters, Kayla and Erika Gibson, Summer Gibson, Emily and Abigail Williams. The family wishes to express gratitude to the VA Hospital, Unit 2-2 for their loving support during Irvin's stay.
