Obituary of Janiree Bowling Hamilton

Janiree Bowling Hamilton 86 of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday August 28, 2018. Two children, Charlotte Cormany and Clifford Alan Bowling, preceded her.

Ms. Hamilton was a member of the Barnhardt Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Doris Bowling, Dennis Bowling and Nancy, Susie Glenn and John, Robert “Bobby” Bowling; grandchildren, Heather Lee and Kevin, Eddie Ireson and Shawna, Jeremiah Bowling, Brittany Shelton and Collin, Jesse Price, and Ryan Murray; great grandchildren, Peyton Lee, Ravin Werthman and Kyle, and Emma Shelton; brother, Shorty Brown and Skippy; sister, Pat Patsel; devoted friends, Donald King, Linda Huddleston.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital in her memory.

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Saturday September 1, 2018 at Barnhardt Baptist Church, Goodview, Va. with Rev. Joseph Peters and Rev. Michael Cox officiating. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 1:00pm until service time at the church Saturday September 1, 2018.
