Obituary of Jo Ann Crump

Jo Ann B. Crump, 90, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord and her husband Joseph, Wednesday, August 15, 2018. She was preceded by her parents, Grace and Ashby Bishop, sister, Jean Rodes, brother, Charles Bishop, and nephew, David Rodes.

Jo Ann was a member of Melrose Baptist Church.

Surviving are her children, Winifred (Michael) Tate, Dean (Georgia) Crump, Mary(Warriner) Lawton, Joseph (Leslie) Crump; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a niece, Ellen Wills.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Angels of Assisi.

Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Brenda Rowe.  Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Simpson Funeral Home.  366-0707
