Obituary of Randolph Maynard Bailey

Randolph “Randy” Bailey, 82, of Roanoke, passed away, Wednesday, August 8, 2018. Randy was known for his gardening, amazing decorating skill of his Christmas lights, and for owning Wet Pets for 35 years. He is survived by his wife Sharon Ogburn Bailey; sister Joann Santucci and husband Bobby; children, Bruce Bailey, and Sherrie Bailey Faries; grandchildren, Troy Faries, Erika Bailey, Robert Faries and wife Alison, Amanda Almazan, Ashley Faries, and Brandon Bailey; great-grandchildren, Andreas Almazan, River Faries, and Gwen Faries; Aunt, Caris Viel. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Julia Ewen and staff, Gentle Shepherd Hospice, and his favorite nurse , Becky Goodman for their care of Randy. Services will be held Monday, August 13, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service time.
