Kenneth Garland Lovern 79 of Bristol, TN. Formerly of Roanoke went to be with his wife Alice Lovern and the Lord and Savior on Sunday August 5, 2018. His parents, Woodrow and Virginia Lovern, and his youngest brother, Bobby Lovern, also preceded him.

 

Mr. Lovern was a member of the Moose and Elks Lodges. He retired from TAP as a Counselor after many years of service. During his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. A very loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all.

 

Surviving are his son, W G. Lovern and wife Joann of Roanoke; daughters, Regina Badger and husband Larry, Joann Lovern Platte and husband Bryan both of Michigan; grandchildren, Ashley Lovern, April Lovern, Kenneth Wayne Palmer Lovern, and Samuel Badger; great grandchildren, Austin Crusenberry, and Natalie and Mary Lovern; brother, David Lovern of Roanoke and sisters, Betty, Becky, Shirley, and Bonnie. Along with many friends.

 

A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Thursday August 9, 2018 in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00pm August 8, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home.
