George W. Millirons, Sr., 90, of Troutville, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 2, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Annie Millirons; children, Randolph David, James Matthew, and Linda Millirons; 6 brothers and 1 sister. Left to cherish his memory, his wife of 69 years Beatrice Havens Millirons; children, Nora M. Frazier, George Millirons Jr., Jerry Millirons, Alice Flora, and Allen Millirons; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. George was a member of the Roanoke Valley Cathedral of Praise formerly known as Williamson Road Church of God as well as Trinity Church of God. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Virginia Veterans Care Center for their love and care. The family will receive friends Sunday, August 5, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Monday, August 6, 2018 at 9 a.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 6, 2018 at Noon in Hoges Chapel Cemetery in Bland, Virginia. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707.
