Obituary of Cella Lewis Ferguson

Cella L. Ferguson, 89, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Saturday, July 28, 2018.  She was preceded by her husband, William R. "Bill" Ferguson and a daughter, Karen Ferguson Waddell

Cella was a graduate of Beaver High School in Bluefield, West Virginia and was a member of Northview United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her sons, Randy Ferguson and wife Robin, Steve Ferguson and wife Angie; grandchildren, Tyler Ferguson and wife Kala, Kristen Ferguson Bowman and husband Trevor, Andrew, Faith and Katie Ferguson; three great grandchildren; brother, Bill Lewis and wife Pat; sister and special friend, Jean Stamper; son-in-law, Jeff Waddell; numerous nieces and her very special friends in the "beach bunch".

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Building Fund C/O Northview United Methodist Church 521 Ridgecrest Drive Roanoke, VA  24019.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. James Asberry. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home.  366-0707
