Obituary of Alice Malbone Lovern

Alice Malbone Lovern, 79, of Bristol, TN went home to be with the Lord Monday, July 9, 2018.  She was preceded by a son, Scott Hepler, her parents,  James M. and Ila Davis Thompson, and her eleven siblings.

Mrs. Lovern retired as Director of the Virginia Association of the Blind.

Surviving are her husband, Kenneth G. Lovern; son, Ronnie Hepler; daughters, Cindy O’Reilly and Rebecca "Becky" Manning; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sister, Janie Mitchell, and a brother, Bobby Thompson.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, July 16, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be private.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home.  366-0707
