Obituary of Dorothy Fay Foster

Dorothy Fay White Foster, 89, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, June 28, 2018.  She was preceded by her loving husband, James T. Foster, parents, Grady and Stella White, brothers, Bert and Harold White, and grandson, Tommy Lee Phillips.

Surviving are her children, Sheila (Alvin) McDaniel of Glade Hill, VA, Sallie (Michael) Givens, Grady (Mary) Foster, Sharon Wimmer all of Roanoke, and Tami Foster of Floyd; siblings, Nola Ellease Boles of Salem, Nell (Wayne) Morrell of Bristol, TN, Shelby McGee and Cheryl (Wendell) Truitt, both of Lexington, AL, Janice (Robert) Bivens of Leoma, TN, Ronnie (Jan) White, of Lawrenceburg, TN; grandchildren, Sonia (Eric) Whitley, Jason (Shannon) Berg, Jason Hall, Jessica (Mike) Williams and Nathan Foster; and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Robert Mullins.  Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at Simpson Funeral Home.  366-0707
