Obituary of Charles Allen Zook Jr.

Charles Allen “Chuck” Zook, Jr. 42, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 26, 2018.  He was preceded by a daughter, Charlie Shelby Zook, and a sister, Anna Beth Zook.

Chuck was a graduate of Johnson Bible College and was employed with the Roanoke City Department of Social Services.  He was a member of Faith Alliance Church.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shelby Lee Wandel Zook; children, Beatrix Bevin Zook, Koen John Zook, Mina Pearl Zook; mom and dad, Claudia Beth Tow Zook and Charles A. Zook, Sr.; grandmother, Alene Marjorie Scheible Tow; sisters, Rebecca Alene Zook Baker, and Amy Lee Zook Steele; brother, Jonathan Zachary Zook and wife Elizabeth Anne Refino Zook; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Chuck’s loving church, Faith Alliance Church 7505 Barrens Road Roanoke, VA  24019.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Faith Alliance Church by the Rev. Joseph Pjecha, and the Rev. Pete Dunker.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park.  The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.
