Obituary of Anna Fischer Noland

Anna Nataly Noland, 91 of Roanoke, Va. was called home after a battle with cancer, with her family surrounding her on Thursday, June 21, 2018. She was a loving mom and loved her children very much. She was full of life and a day didn't go by that she didn't laugh or make you laugh. Anna was a volunteer at Lewis Gayle Hospital for years. The family would like to thank Carilion Roanoke Hospice Services for caring for our mother.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband John W. Noland of Roanoke and parents Carmine and

Natalina Fischer of Boston, MA. She is survived by her six children Carol Movius (Bill), Johnnie Noland

(Lisa), Faye Clements (Mark), Leslie Gibbs (Scott), Natalie Parsley (Mark), Robert Noland (Shannon). She

has eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Carilion Roanoke Hospice Services, 1917 Franklin Rd.,

Roanoke, VA 24012 in Anna’s name.  Family will receive friends from 5pm to 8 pm on Sunday at Simpson Funeral Home at 5160 Peters Creek Rd., Roanoke, VA. Graveside Service will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm at Blue Ridge
